City of Toronto Emergency and Rapid Housing Initiative

GPA were retained by the City of Toronto to provide planning services for the Rapid Rehousing Initiative to identify vacancies to be made available immediately to people experiencing homelessness in Toronto. Through 2020 and 2021, the initiative connected over 990 people to permanent and fully furnished housing. An additional 550 units are planned for 2022, including 100 units through the Accelerated Housing Plan approved by City Council.
